Many students and parents are facing challenges this school year. Worrying about whether they can afford school supplies or not shouldn't be one of them. Help us fill backpacks for kids in need within the Green Local School District!

With guidance from the school system, we've prepared two donation lists - one for early grades, and one for older students. The school will identify the students who need assistance within the district, and our church will partner with them to donate the necessary items. We've already provided all of the actual backpacks and a few additional items. Now we need you to help us fill them!

If you'd like to participate, simply choose one of the donation lists provided; purchase all of the items on your list (around $20 total); gather all of your items in one grocery bag, label them by grade range, and drop them off at the table near Door C. Donation drop-off days are from July 21-August 4.

You're welcome to purchase supplies for more than one student if you choose - simply bundle each set of supplies separately. Tap the button above to see the list of needed supplies or to contact our Local Outreach team for more information.

Do you have a loved one facing memory loss and are looking for others that can relate?

A time for those that are caring for loved ones facing Dementia or Alzheimers to gather for prayer, support, and resources. This takes place on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM in room 124.

We invite you to the our summer GKM Olympics! This is a fun-filled event packed with activities and competitions for kids from K through 5th grade. Everyone will be split into teams and will compete to win! Please have your child dress in their team color in clothes that can get messy.

Meet at 10:00am by the playground near Door C for check-in and drop-off. Pickup will be at the same location at 12:00pm.

We are so excited for what we have planned this summer for Green Kids Ministry and we hope you are too! Below are our summer events to help you plan your summer and get you excited for some family fun in the sun!

Bring your bikes, scooters, and lawn chairs for Bike Night at The Chapel! What better way to spend a summer evening than riding bikes and hanging out with other families? This is a great opportunity to invite other families to a night of fun. Please meet and park in Lot E where we will cone off part of Lot E for safe biking. 
This is an event for the whole family! 

Family Blitz is a one night event that uses stage games, illustrations, and fun all while teaching the entire family about Biblical principles. The main portion of the evening will be  in the main worship center. Light refreshments will be provided in the atrium after the Family Blitz show. This is a fun-filled event for the whole family that you do not want to miss!

Please park in Lot B and C. Doors open at 6:00pm.

Grab your nerf guns and get ready for an exciting time full of silliness. Make sure to be on your A-game for this evening! This is an event for the whole family to participate in! We will meet by the baseball fields in between Lot B and C. Hope to see you there!

Join a peer-to-peer support group for those who are grieving. This group meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 6:00 pm in room 124.

Celebrate the joy of music and movement with our Special Needs Ministry

Join us for “Joyful Music and Movement,” a special event designed for individuals with special needs. Held on the first and third Thursday of each month from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, this program offers a fun and engaging experience filled with music and movement. The event dates are July 18th (no class on July 4th), and August 1st and 15th, with the final session on August 15th. Come and experience the joy of music and movement in a supportive and inclusive environment!

Our OASIS 55+ Group will be viewing The Chosen Season 4 over 4 weeks. Two episodes per week will be run on Wednesday Evenings August 14, 21, 28, and September 4. Doors open at 5:30pm and the show will begin promptly at 6pm.

A class to better understand God's heart for disciple-making!

Jesus trusted His people with a mission: to go and make disciples. In this 3-week course, you’ll get a glimpse of God’s heart for disciple-making. You’ll learn how to be prepared to boldly share your testimony and faith.

Classes will be held on Sunday Mornings during the 9:00 am hour in Room 102 on July 14, 21, and 28.

You're invited to a time for mothers, grandmothers, and female caretakers with children ages birth to preschool to connect, be encouraged, and grow in faith with one another. This is a monthly gathering on the second Thursday of every month.

Widowed Women Connect meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month to help you make new friends and attend social activities you may be reluctant to attend on your own. Each gathering will consist of some social time, a discussion of upcoming activities, and a 30-minute presentation on topics of interest to women living alone. In August we will celebrate our 2nd anniversary as we hear from speaker, Robert Fenn, from the Social Security Agency.  We welcome you to join other women that can relate to you for a time of fellowship, laughter, and fun!

Join Women's Ministry for a two week Obadiah Bible study!

Join Women's Ministry for a summer session of Bible studies with Angela Guy. Bring your Bible and a notebook and spend two weeks studying the book of Obadiah. The study will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays, July 31 & August 7 in Room 101. 

We are excited to offer two Bible study options this fall ("Promises Kept" by Courtney Reissig & "Simply Bible: Romans (Part 1)" by Carmen Beasley), along with a new gathering option to accommodate busy schedules!

All offerings below will begin Sept. 10 & 11.

Promises ground us. With every promise comes stability and beauty. Every kept vow gives courage and hope. Promises Kept will take us through five Old Testament covenants – promises – with the goal of seeing God’s beautiful storyline and how Jesus fulfills God’s loving covenants.

As we journey to know and enjoy God directly through His Word, we were bound to arrive at this book, which oftentimes is referred to as "the gospel according to Paul."  Paul's 1st century letter to the Romans takes us directly to the heart and message of Jesus. We're excited to begin studying with you!

Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8:00pm in East End

If you are in a busy season of life where homework and Bible study preparation is difficult, but you still desire to meet other women from the church, worship, and learn biblical truths about everyday issues, Refresh is for you.  Even if and when your life feels like a mess, come as you are ... and leave refreshed. Invite a friend to come with you! 

GKM programming will be available during Refresh.

Join other women for a night of pray and walking!

Women are invited to come to pray AND walk together on Wednesday nights this spring and summer. Walking is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday from May 15 to August 14. (Prayer sitters are welcome to come, too). Meet at the walking path's trailhead in Parking Lot B each week. 

All women are invited to enjoy ice cream sundaes and find out about what’s offered in the fall!
