Bring your Bible, The Alan Vermilye version of The Pilgrim's Progress, and download the Study Guide. We will meet at 6:30am and 6:30pm on Wednesdays at the church in Room 123.

We will be using a Modern-Day version of the book "The Pilgrim's Progress" written by Alan Vermilye. Please use the provided link to order the correct book as we read, discuss, and apply this life-long journey of faith together.

Join Women's Ministry for a summer session of Bible studies. Bring your Bible and a notebook and spend four weeks studying the book of Habakkuk with Cindy Stone.

The study will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays, June 5, 12, 19, 26 in Room 123.

As artists, God created us to reflect His creativity and express His beauty through the artistic gifts He has given us.

The arts have the ability to speak to hearts in ways everyday language does not. The Artistic Collaborative is a space for artists of all types in our church to come together, listen to the Lord through prayer and His Word, respond to Him by creating, and collaborate with other artists. Together, the artists facilitate synergy, as we create works that enhance the sermons preached on a Sunday at The Chapel. 

 At our gatherings, we look into Scripture, following the current sermon series, share together from our hearts, create, share creations, etc. We also want to hone one another’s gifts as we create and be a safe place to do that. Please join us on the second Wednesday of the month from 6:30-8:30pm in the Choir Room. 

All types of artists and creatives are welcome!

You're invited to a time for mothers, grandmothers, and female caretakers with children ages birth to preschool to connect, be encouraged, and grow in faith with one another. This is a monthly gathering on the second Thursday of every month.

The City of Green Central Park Amphitheater

This is a great opportunity to invite someone new as The Chapel in Green will host two events this summer at The City of Green Central Park Amphitheater. The first is Friday, June 14th and Better Monday will be playing. The second one will be Friday, July 5th with Freedom Brass Band playing

There will also be a Kona ice truck available on June 14 for purchase 

Beginning Wednesday, May 15 from 6:30-7:30pm

Join other women for a night of pray and walking!

Women are invited to come to pray AND walk together on Wednesday nights this spring and summer. Walking is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday from May 15 to August 14. (Prayer sitters are welcome to come, too). Meet at the walking path's trailhead in Parking Lot B each week. 

Widowed Women Connect meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month to help you make new friends and attend social activities you may be reluctant to attend on your own. Each gathering will consist of some social time, a discussion of upcoming activities, and a 30-minute presentation on topics of interest to women living alone. May’s guest speaker is Dr. Brenda Prince who will challenge widowed women to take care of themselves – identifying health problems they might have and asserting themselves to find solutions.  We welcome you to join other women that can relate to you for a time of fellowship, laughter, and fun!

Recreational and competitive league play!

Open play will be held on Wednesdays May 1 - 29, 2024 and September 4 - 25, 2024 from 6-10:30pm. The season play will be held June 3 - August 28, 2024 from 6-10:30pm. Please contact Ryan at jknobelo@att.net or Kevin at kevin.thompson3@gmail.com with any questions.

Capernaum Club is a great place for those with special needs to make new friends and learn what it means to be part of a body of believers!

YoungLife Capernaum Club is designed for students ages 14-22 with special needs and meets on the third Saturday of each month from 4-5:30pm.

Anchored Club is a great place for those with special needs to make new friends and learn what it means to be part of a body of believers!

Anchored Club is geared towards adults ages 23 and older with special needs and meets on the third Saturday of each month from 4-5:30pm.

OASIS 55+ will be going to a RubberDucks Game!

Experience the excitement of America's favorite pastime as the Akron RubberDucks face off against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Canal Park on Thursday, May 30th. The action starts at 6:35 pm sharp. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy a night of great baseball and fellowship!

Join Todd and Kristin Evans for an afternoon helping parents nurture their faith, strengthen their marriages, and protect their mental health. There will be free childcare for children, teens, and/or young adults with special needs and their siblings (if needed) for the first 25 registered!

Community and connection are essential aspects of belonging to a church. We know that with a church our size, those don't always come so easily, but we've found that getting more involved really helps our big church to feel a little smaller. No matter the next right step for you, we want to help!
