Weddings
Marriage is a beautiful picture of unity, created and designed by God. After God’s creation of man and woman, Scripture gives us the foundational verse for understanding marriage: “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24). Here, in the act of creating the marriage relationship, God also gives us the fundamental purpose for the relationship: oneness.
What we offer
An Officiating Pastor
All of our pastors on staff are ordained and legally certified to perform weddings. If you would like to request a pastor to officiate your ceremony, reach out to us and we'll provide you with the appropriate contact information!
A Ceremony Venue
Couples who are members or regular attenders of The Chapel in Green are able to have their wedding ceremony in our building in one of three spaces: the Worship Center, East End, or the Conference Room. Reservations are limited to wedding ceremonies - we do not offer space or accommodations for wedding receptions.
Application Process
In order to begin a wedding application, you must know your wedding date (or the month you’d prefer if you do not have a day set yet) and your officiant. Once you've submitted your application, we'll be reaching out to you to begin working through more details!
Purity Pledge
Included in the application form, you’ll find a Purity Pledge. We require the completion of this pledge for all couples who would like to be married at The Chapel in Green and/or those wanting to be married by any of our officiating pastors.
