Becoming a member is a formal way to express your commitment to The Chapel in Green. In 1 Corinthians 12, God likens individual believers in Jesus to distinctive parts that together comprise one body. This is an excellent picture of church membership. Every single follower of Jesus the world over is part of the “universal” body of Christ. Becoming a member of The Chapel in Green is a local expression of this same principle.

The membership class series includes 3 consecutive Sunday morning classes and a Saturday morning wrap-up class. Membership Class is October 6, 13, 20, and November 2.

Do you have a child (grades 2-5) who loves to sing and praise the Lord? We want him or her to be a part of our Kids Worship Choir! 

No past choir or musical experience is necessary - Kids Worship Choir offers a fun opportunity to learn new musical skills together while lifting our voices in praise to the One who is worthy! Once we get a few practice sessions under our belt, the Kids Worship Choir will have the opportunity to lead worship during our Sunday morning services!

Widowed Women Connect meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month to help you make new friends and attend social activities you may be reluctant to attend on your own. Each gathering will consist of some social time, a discussion of upcoming activities, and a 30-minute presentation on topics of interest to women living alone. September’s speaker is Andy Beltz, PT, certified vestibular specialist, who will talk about “Dizziness and Balance Disorders: Causes and Cures.”  We welcome you to join other women who can relate to you for a time of fellowship, laughter, and fun!

On Saturday, October 12, The Chapel in Green will host a one-time event that will provide education and inspiration to help nurses thrive as they care for others and avoid burnout.

Event begins at 9:00am in East End (Door D)

A complimentary lunch will be provided at 12pm in the Atrium following the event.

No childcare will be available through the church during the event.

Midweek is an intentional time for GKM full of Scripture, Biblical application, and FUN! We host Midweek on Wednesday nights throughout the school year. The first semester includes September 11th- November 20th. The second semester includes January 15th - April 9th. From babies all the way up to 5th grade, we have something for your children to participate in!

The Nursery will be open for babies to have a safe and happy environment. Our leaders take special care to pray over babies and help them learn that Jesus loves them. 

The Preschool Hallway will host Midweek to help your preschooler learn the building blocks of faith all while playing and growing in the Word. 

K-5th graders will have Team KID which stands for Kids In Discipleship. Our hope with Team KID is that your children grow closer to Jesus through practical applications, form friendships with their peers, be poured into by leaders, and have lots of fun through games and silliness. Pick-up and drop-off will be in room 200.

We are excited to offer two Bible study options this fall ("Promises Kept" by Courtney Reissig & "Simply Bible: Romans (Part 1)" by Carmen Beasley), along with a new gathering option to accommodate busy schedules!

All offerings below will begin Sept. 10 & 11.

Promises ground us. With every promise comes stability and beauty. Every kept vow gives courage and hope. Promises Kept will take us through five Old Testament covenants – promises – with the goal of seeing God’s beautiful storyline and how Jesus fulfills God’s loving covenants.

As we journey to know and enjoy God directly through His Word, we were bound to arrive at this book, which oftentimes is referred to as "the gospel according to Paul."  Paul's 1st century letter to the Romans takes us directly to the heart and message of Jesus. We're excited to begin studying with you!

Do you have a loved one facing memory loss and are looking for others that can relate?

A time for those that are caring for loved ones facing Dementia or Alzheimers to gather for prayer, support, and resources. This takes place on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM in room 124.

You're invited to a time for mothers, grandmothers, and female caretakers with children ages birth to preschool to connect, be encouraged, and grow in faith with one another. This is a monthly gathering on the second Thursday of every month.

GriefShare is a support group that exists to help adults rebuild their lives after the death of a loved one. Join us as we begin to work toward healing together.

The Fall 2024 sessions run on Wednesdays from August 21 through November 13 (13 weeks). Morning Sessions are at 10:00am and the evening sessions are at 6:30pm.

*Note:  $20 workbook available in person (cash/check only).

This 4-week course will help you understand the ways in which God’s people are called to walk, live, and grow in community with other believers.

Classes will be held on Sunday Mornings during the 9:00 am hour in Room 102 on September 8, 15, 22, 29.

We'd love to have you here with us as we worship our Savior and celebrate with one another as a family! Choose whichever service works best with your family's schedule, and enjoy some tasty treats, hot chocolate, hallway games, and photo booths as well.

Kids: Only the Nursery and Preschool hallways will be open for the 10am service. Kids hallways will not be open for the 4pm & 5:30pm services.

Students: There will not be any middle school or high school services.

Campus groups: On-site small groups will not be meeting.

Close out 2023 by celebrating all that we've seen God do this year! We'll have Sunday morning services at our normal times, but this will be a Sunday of special celebration!

Kids: Only the Nursery and Preschool hallways will be open during both services.

Special Services

Enjoy a night of family fun – complete with cookie decorating, games, prize drawings, an indoor snowball fight, and a Christmas movie of course! We'll be showing The Grinch (2018), as voted by many of you!

You could give out warm welcomes at the door and help concert-goers get in smoothly by taking tickets, serve up tasty treats to the families coming to our movie night, or bring the fun by helping out with hallway games on Christmas Eve! Join in, and let's make these events unforgettable together!
